Art Direction & Design

I had the opportunity to art direct and contribute to the design of Issue 6 of CRUX Magazine, with the goal of creating a visually captivating and refined coffee table aesthetic. The cover design focused on either  the issue theme or the lead article. The primary focus was based on reducing visual clutter and embracing a more spacious layout. By carefully considering the grid, we allowed the content to breathe and flourish, while also utilizing white space to maintain balance, allowing readers to engage with the content effortlessly… Embracing the power of white space played a significant role in our design approach.

By implementing these design principles, we successfully crafted a magazine layout for Issue 6 of CRUX Magazine. Its captivating visuals and inviting design encourage readers to delve into the content while evoking a sense of sophistication that resonates with the coffee table aesthetic.
